The Pages Section Is Empty after Importing a Portal (Doc ID 2454177.1)

Symptoms


Importing a portal results with no pages in the target / imported portal.
The Pages Section is empty.

The export shows the following error:

ERROR

Portal export operation failed. Cause of failures:
...

MDSException performing MDS transfer




STEPS

  1. Export the portal with this command:
    e.g.:
     
  2. Import the portal.

  3. Connect to the target WebCenter Portal.

  4. Go to administer the imported portal and select Pages.
    Here you will see the pages are missing.

    The pages show correctly in the source environment.
