Last updated on JUNE 11, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version to [Release 12c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Two domains configured - Domain A has a service that reads messages from a local queue and forwards them to a distributed queue on Domain B.

In addition to being distributed Domain B is configured for service migration.

When one of the Domain B JMS services is migrated, they get the following errors and all message delivery may be stopped:

Domain B:

<Warning> <JTA> <BEA-110204> <XA resource [xa resource name] returns XAER_RMFAIL and is unavailable.>

Domain A:

Caused by: javax.transaction.xa.XAException: Internal error: No XAResource object found for XA resource '<XA resource name>'

at weblogic.transaction.internal.XAResourceDescriptor.startResourceUse(

The above error is actually expected.

However, it needs 60 seconds to restart message delivery.

It's too long for customer's system.
