How to Revert to a Previous Version of WebCenter Enterprise Capture Client? (Doc ID 2466651.1)

Goal

After upgrading the WebCenter Enterprise Capture client on a machine to version 12.2.1.3.0 (for testing), how can this be downgraded to the previous version (12.2.1.2.0) again?  When installing the 12.2.1.2.0 version, the below popup message occurs:

A newer version of this software is already installed

How can the previous version be installed?
