Portal Online/Offline Issue in Oracle WebCenter Portal (Doc ID 2471160.1)

Symptoms

In the WebCenter Portal Administration page, Portal can be brought Online/Offline as needed. However, in a multi-node (Enterprise or High-availability deployment) environment, status of the Portal is shown as Offline even if it is Online and vice versa.
