Symptoms

When attempting to apply a new WebCenter Sites patch, the following error is encountered:

You have already installed same patch(es) with same UPI(s) or same version(s)

Or the error:

Following patches have conflicts: [   27490521   31548911 ]
Use the MOS Patch Conflict Checker "https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/PatchConflictCheck" to resolve.

OPatch failed with error code 73 

Changes

 The WebCenter Sites instance being patch already has a previous patch applied to it.
