Upgrade To Coherence 12.2.1.3.x Causing The Proxy Nodes To Take 100% CPU Indefinitely (Doc ID 2476854.1)

Symptoms

A user reported that after upgrading coherence from 3.7.1.10 to 12.2.1.3.0, sporadically getting timeout exceptions and causing the nodes to become unresponsive. At some sporadic point after these errors (sometimes multiple hours), usually one or two proxy nodes also start taking 100% CPU. The system becomes unusable and unreliable after these timeouts occur. The 100% CPU is because of the following thread stacks:
