Accessing Application Deployed to WebLogic 10.3.6 Environment Fails With "400 Not Found" and "302 Moved Temporarily" (Doc ID 2478319.1)

Symptoms

The environment for this case has Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) 12.2.1.3 as a proxy to Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS) 10.3.6, and using Oracle Access Manager (OAM) Webgate 12.2.1.3 installed with OHS to authenticate. OAM server on the backend is also 12.2.1.3, but the application is deployed to a separate WLS 10.3.6 instance.

When accessing the application, error code 400 is shown in OHS log:
