Disabling the ODI Studio Menu Command "Team > Switch Version Application" (Doc ID 2479344.1)

Goal

Once an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) repository is disconnected from a Version Control System (VCS), it cannot easily be re-connected to the same VCS repository. See the following Document 2465052.1.
However, the mistake of disconnecting from VCS is easily made.

How to disable the ODI Studio menu option and prevent developers from selecting "Team -> Switch Version application", and prevent from breaking the connection to VCS?
