Symptoms

According to Ogg v12.3 reference manual, EXTFILE, EXTTRAIL, RMTFILE, RMTTRAIL parameters are explained as deprecated and ignored for Data Pump.

RMTTRAIL parameter is deprecated and ignored for Data Pump

However, if RMTTRAIL is not specified in the parameter file of Data Pump, then Data Pump cannot be started.
