WebLogic Reconfig Create New Unexpected Generic DS Members With "rac" Suffix For MultiDataSource (Doc ID 2491805.1)

Last updated on JUNE 05, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

During upgrade from previous release to reconfig wizard create non working generic DS members for MultiDataSource.

Before upgrade
  MDS : MultiDataSource_Test
  Members: Generic_Test1, Generic_Test2

After upgrade the MDS now points to two non-working newly created generic DS
  MDS : MultiDataSource_Test
  Members: MutiDataSource_Test-rac0, MutiDataSource_Test-rac1

The only workaround is to re-name the generic data source to end with suffix -rac0 and -rac1.
