OIG 12c REST / SCIM service to search users shows error : Java.sql.SQLException: Exceeded Maximum VARRAY Limit (Doc ID 2496796.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Identity Governance version 12c is used for running user search operation using OIM API (REST / SCIM / JAVA) . 

In this scenario , for a user which has been assigned more than 1000 organizations which in turn are attached to Admin Role Organization Administrator and "Include Sub-org" option is checked, when searching using SCIM or JAVA api , no results are returned .



When the same user is set without "Include sub-org" results are returned correctly .

Following error is captured in OIM server diagnostic log when the search operation is executed : 

[oracle.iam.oimdataproviders.impl] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '19' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [userId: <USER1>] [ecid:<ECID>] [APP: oim] [partition-name:
DOMAIN] [tenant-name: GLOBAL] Exceeded maximum VARRAY limit [[ java.sql.SQLException: Exceeded maximum VARRAY limit

The scenarios which show this new issue are :

a.) Login as end user to which the sub-orgs are assigned and navigate to Manage - Users and select the search button .

b.) Login as end user to which the sub-orgs are assigned and navigate to Self-Service - My Access

c.) Login as end user to which the sub-orgs are assigned and navigate to Self-Service - My Access - Admin Roles - Select Organization Administrator or User Viewer Roles , observe the lower pane .

No values are being populated for the following columns :


Organization
Parent Organization
Type
Membership Type

Only manage heirarchy is populated . Attachment uploaded illustrating this issue .

d.) Login as end user to which the sub-orgs are assigned and navigate to Manage - Organization - select the search icon .
