Symptoms

A mapping which has been configured in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.2.x  or 12.2.1.3x makes use of a Loading Knowledge Module (LKM) with DBLINK functionality.

When the mapping is executed via ODI Studio, the following error is received:

This issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open ODI Studio
  2. Locate and open or create a mapping which pulls one table from each of two different source databases, joins the source tables, and inserts the data into a third (target) database
  3. Attempt to run the mapping and observe the error stack reported above.
