OID 12c Ldapbind With Active Directory Through External Java Authentication Plugin Slow Performance for SSO login from OAM (Doc ID 2503416.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Directory - Version 12.2.1.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Have implemented OID12c and OAM 12c Single Sign-on with EBS 12.2.5 successfully.  Synchronization between OID and AD is working fine and Java external authentication plugin is setup over AD SSL ports with AD certificates.

But when login to the OAM through OID 12c via Java external authentication plugin using ldapbind with Active Directory is taking nearly 31secs response time. Tried to eliminate OAM flow using ldapbind to OID directly still it takes 31sec to get authentication.

So assumed there is no issue with OAM. It is completely unknown why OID 12c is taking 31s and as per the OID log files DIME_OVRD event time is taking 30 seconds which eventually increased the Total Operation time to 31sec.
