Large PDF Documents are not Fully Loading in the ADF Content UI Viewer (Doc ID 2506353.1)

Symptoms

This issue was reproduced on WebCenter Content (WCC) 12.2.1.2.0 and 12.2.1.3.0 releases.

Large PDF documents are not fully loading in the ADF viewer Content UI.

When a large PDF document is checked in it will properly display approximately the first 530 pages (depending on the content size of the pages) in the Content UI preview window.  But all pages after 530 will display the last page of the document in the Content UI preview window.

 

Steps to Reproduce
=================
1. Checkin a large PDF document in WCC.

2. Open that PDF document in the ADF Viewer Content UI so that is displays in the preview window.

The document preview will appear to be correct, but after a certain number of pages (usually around 530 depending on the content size of the pages) the preview window will always display the last page of the document.  The page numbers display correctly in the preview window, but the preview window will always show the last page of the document.

Note that for a very brief moment, the correct page will appear in the preview window (about a tenth of a second), but then the last page of the document is displayed.  If you go back to a page earlier in the document (usually before 530 or so), the page will display correctly in the preview window.
