Extended Attributes Cannnot Be Hidden in Case Management (Doc ID 2512656.1)

After adding a new Extended Attribute in Enterprise Data Quality by adding it to /edqconfig/oedq.local.home/casemanagement/flags.xml file, the extended attribute appears in Case Management UI by default.

There is no method to shown to hide the Extended Attribute.  How can this be done?
