MFT Transfer With Four Pre-processing Action Not Working Right
(Doc ID 2514843.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 01, 2021
Applies to:
Oracle Managed File Transfer - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Our vendor is sending a file for which we must do the following for pre-processing actions:
1) Decryption.
2) Decompress.
3) New Line Conversion.
4) Rename . (#4 is a custom callout we use that inserts a time stamp into the file name.)
It looks like the actions are all happening but at the end MFT is copying the wrong temporary file to the final name and location. If I remove the fourth action, it works fine up to there. Maybe the issue is something to do with four actions and it breaks?
The file we get is the decrypted file named but not names as the decrypted file would be named. It is named as the final file but we can unzip it like the decrypted file.
This issue is happening only for 4 Pre-processing. If there is only 3 Pre-processing, the file gets transferred without any issues. If the fourth pre-processing is added, then file gets renamed however the other preprocessing such decompressing does not happen.
