OUD12c - OUD Instance Stops Responding - Error Log Reports: "Latch timeout" (Doc ID 2519021.1)

Symptoms


OUD Stops responding, and below error can be seen in the error log

[15/Feb/2019:18:16:02 +0000] category=BACKEND severity=FATAL_ERROR msgID=9765161 msg=The Database Environment corresponding to backend id <database workflow element name> has encountered a failure and will be disabled.
Restart the Directory Server to reopen the Environment for recovery.
The reported failure cause: (JE 7.0.7) Environment must be closed, caused by: com.sleepycat.je.EnvironmentFailureException: Environment invalid because of previous exception: (JE 7.0.7)
