OIM 12c REST not returning CORS Headers Access-Control-* (Doc ID 2519272.1)

Symptoms

OIM was configured setting the CORS filter to * (matching anything) for test and development purposes.

 

 

We then hit one of the REST endpoints with a request containing an Origin header having the value http://www.example.com and as we can see in the response none of the CORS headers Access-Control-* are returned

 

 

If instead we hit a SCIM endpoint we will see the CORS requests in the response
