Batches Stop In State 250 And Cannot Be Processed Further (Doc ID 2519334.1)

Symptoms

Unable to process invoices through WebCenter Forms Recognition.  All of the invoices are going into a 250 status and the following error is posted to the H_.log for all invoices:

[Error] |30| 09:40:01.344 | 9748 | 6308780k/27245132k | 6931944k/60173976k | 249448k/258400k | 832 | 100/57 | Performing second automatic restart after classification and extraction failure. The processed document will be safely redirected to the failed batch state during the next processing attempt.

The incoming TIFF image files have these unusual properties:

Changes

A change in the Capture Import Processor configuration, the MaxThreads setting was changed to 5.  The Capture Import Processor is configured to use a slightly modified version of the script described in <Document 1909021.1> Sample Import Processor Script (Email Jobs Only) for Converting PDF to TIFF Using GhostScript.
