Exalogic Virtual: How To Generate A Resource Usage Report With VM Name In Place Through Command Line (Doc ID 2521865.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 08, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud Software - Version 2.0.6.2.0 and later
Linux x86-64
Oracle Virtual Server x86-64

Goal

Ideally, we can use Oracle Enterprise Manager(OEM) to get the information about which Guest VM's are running in the Exalogic rack, and how many vCPUs, RAM are allocated to each Guest VM.

In case there is no OEM available then using the default Exalogic tools and commands we cannot get consolidated report of VM's resouce utilization in Exalogic rack.

This MOS Note provides information on getting resources utilized by VM's in Exalogic rack using scripting method if there is no OEM available.
