Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On: Password Reset

Unable to enroll users in ESSO Password Reset

ESSO enrollment is failing on ESSO Password Reset server. Users encounter an error message when attempting to access the ESSO Password Reset enrollment client from a browser.  


ERROR

"You do not have permissions to view this directory or page"


STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Enter the URL for the Password Reset enrollment client. (http://<IIS_WEB_HOST_SERVERNAME>/vGOSelfServiceReset/EnrollmentClient/enrolluser.aspx)
  3. Enter the username/password for the user to be enrolled in the Windows Security dialog prompt.
  4. The page is displayed with the error message.


BUSINESS IMPACT
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot complete the ESSO Password Reset enrollment quiz.
