User Credentials Disappear In Disconnected Operation (Doc ID 2532307.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On: Logon Manager 11.1.2.3.1

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

User's credentials are no longer visible in the Logon Manager UI when the user logs onto the workstation in disconnected mode and the Active Directory repository is not available for synchronization. The credentials are restored when the machine is connected to the network and the ESSO-LM agent can successfully synchronize with the repository. 

 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

User's credentials remain visible in the ESSO Logon Manager UI when the workstation is disconnected from the network and the Active Directory repository is not available. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. ESSO-LM is running while connected to the domain and credentials are visible 
  2. Laptop is disconnected from the domain and connected to an external Wifi network.
  3. ESSO-LM is shutdown and restarted. (instead of restarting the laptop)
  4. Credentials in ESSO-LM are no longer visible. 

Changes

 The workstation is disconnected from the network and the ESSO-LM agent cannot synchronize with the Active Directory repository.
