Standalone Agent Test Fails with "ODI-1424: Agent host or port cannot be reached" (Doc ID 2533400.1)

Symptoms

A standalone Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Agent is configured and started successfully without any errors.

When trying to test the connection for this agent from Studio on multiple client machines, each attempt fails with the following error:

A test ping from the client machine to the server machine is not successful.
