Applies to:
Oracle Coherence - Version 3.7.1.16 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
User reported that we have configured a cache region with an overflow scheme as below given, however, once the number of pages (respectively their size limits) is reached, the system starts to wait for available space and eventually goes down since the Worker threads as well as the cache service are 'Guardable'. Cache worker threads that eventually is terminated as well as the entire process. According to the documentation, once all pages are full, the oldest one is scrapped and reused. This must not result in a complete crash of the Cache service.
