When Attempting To Open The Imaging Task List Error "Servlet failed with Exception" Occurs in the Log and Error 500 Occurs in the Browser (Doc ID 2539955.1)

Symptoms

After a new installation of WebCenter Content: Imaging, the below errors are received when opening the Task List:

java.lang.NullPointerException
at oracle.imaging.axf.model.util.AdfUtil.getBrowserLocale(AdfUtil.java:102)
at jsp_servlet.__commandauthenticatorfacade._jspService(__commandauthenticatorfacade.java:107)
at weblogic.servlet.jsp.JspBase.service(JspBase.java:34)
at weblogic.servlet.internal.StubSecurityHelper$ServletServiceAction.run(StubSecurityHelper.java:227)
at weblogic.servlet.internal.StubSecurityHelper.invokeServlet(StubSecurityHelper.java:125)
at weblogic.servlet.internal.ServletStubImpl.execute(ServletStubImpl.java:301)
at weblogic.servlet.internal.TailFilter.doFilter(TailFilter.java:26)
at weblogic.servlet.internal.FilterChainImpl.doFilter(FilterChainImpl.java:56)
at oracle.security.jps.ee.http.JpsAbsFilter$1.run(JpsAbsFilter.java:119)

The browser displays Error 500.

Changes

New install of 11.1.1.8 with no patches installed.
