RESTful Service Not Generating Trace File when Selecting an ODI 12c Agent (Doc ID 2544422.1)

Last updated on MAY 09, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Oracle Data Integrator Cloud Service - Version 17.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When setting the "-TRACE_FILE" parameter for the Oracle data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.3 OdiInvokeRESTfulService tool, and executing via an ODI Agent (Standalone, Collocated or JavaEE), the trace file will not be created.

Consider an OdiInvokeRESTfulService generic example:

Executing the OdiInvokeRESTfulService above example via "Local (no Agent) will produce the /refresh/home/trace/poc.trc, which is set in the "-TRACE_FILE".

But, when executing the same call using an ODI Agent (Standalone, Collocated or JavaEE), the poc.trc file is not produced.
