Symptoms

Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 11g, e.g., version 11.1.1.9.0.

The Unique Entry Plugin is deployed in OVD, but still getting multiple (i.e., two) results for a given attribute, e.g., sAMAccountName attribute, even with the uniqueentry plugin configured.
