Last updated on NOVEMBER 07, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 12.2.1.2.0 to 12.2.1.4.0Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Listing content under a folder using /cmis/children{repositoryId} takes time to display any new uploaded or deleted files.
STEPS:
The issue can be reproduced as follows:
- Upload a file to a WebCenter Portal Folder using CMIS REST API.
- Delete a file from the same WebCenter Portal Folder using CMIS REST API.
- Query the contents under the Portal folder using CMIS REST API.
Here the new file will not be display and the deleted file will be displayed for several minutes.
e.g. using this POST URL:
http://<HOSTNAME>:<PORT>/rest/api/cmis/children/{<repositoryId>}?uid=IDC:Folder/{<FolderGUID>}
For example:
http://<HOSTNAME>:<PORT>/rest/api/cmis/children/WebCenterSpaces-ucm?uid=IDC:Folder/287D4BF754F139A506443A163D318BE9 - After several minutes the new file can be seen and the deleted file will no longer be displayed.
- Changes with new files or deleted files are reflected immediately using the WebCenter Portal UI as well of the WebCenter Content UI.
So issue is only when listing children under a folder using CMIS REST API.
