ODI Enterprise Installation Hangs at 52% (Doc ID 2555333.1)

Symptoms

When installing Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Enterprise 12.2.1.x on Oracle Linux, the installation process hangs at 52%, on step "Generating Libraries." No errors appear in the installation log. However, attempting an ODI Standalone installation is successful.
