Exalogic Virtual: Ovmd Continuously Logging IP Change Events On 2.0.6.4.X Image Versions OL6 & OL7 Guest vServers Due To Long EoIB Slave Names (Doc ID 2577853.1)

Symptoms

In Exalogic Virtual racks 2.0.6.4.X, issue of ovmd service on OL6 and OL7 Guest Servers continuously logging IP change events is noticed. Because of this OVM Manager Admin Server logs and ovs-agent, ovmwatch logs on the Dom0 compute node where OL6 & OL7 Guest VMs are running are flooded with IP change messages.

Following are error symptoms which are noticed.

On OL7 Guest vServer seeing "sendIPChangeInfoMessage" messages when running "service ovmd status" command

When running "service ovmd status" command on OL7 Guest vServers we notice below error message on the console. Below error is NOT seen on OL6 Guest vServers when running "service ovmd status" command.
