"[J2EE:160149] Error while processing lib references. Unresolved application library references, defined in weblogic-application.xml: [Extension-Name: oracle.odi-agent, exact-match: false]" Error when Extending a WLS Domain with an ODI Generated Template (Doc ID 2586060.1)

Last updated on APRIL 07, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.1.2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The steps in the following note have been applied in order to setup a new JavaEE Agent on another Managed Server, in the same ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) 12c Domain:

Document 1682781.1 - "How To Set Up Multiple ODI 11g / 12c Agents On The Same Server"

The Domain was extended with the template generated from ODI Studio, based on the new JavaEE Agent, using option "Generate Server Template".

The new Agent is setup in ODI Studio to use the Web Application Context named "oraclediagent2".

However, when restarting the Managed Server on which the new Agent was deployed, the deployment "oraclediagent2" fails to start, and the following message is witness in the Managed Server log:

#### <ODI_server2> <[STANDBY] ExecuteThread: '4' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <> <> <> <[severity-value: 8] ... [partition-name: DOMAIN]> weblogic.management.DeploymentException: [J2EE:160149]Error while processing library references.
