Symptoms

The steps in the following note have been applied in order to setup a new JavaEE Agent on another Managed Server, in the same ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) 12c Domain:

Document 1682781.1 - "How To Set Up Multiple ODI 11g / 12c Agents On The Same Server"

The Domain was extended with the template generated from ODI Studio, based on the new JavaEE Agent, using the option "Generate Server Template".

The new Agent is setup in ODI Studio to use the Web Application Context named "oraclediagent2".

However, when restarting the Managed Server on which the new Agent was deployed, the deployment "oraclediagent2" fails to start, and the following message is shown in the Managed Server log:
