BINDING.JCA-11443 Adapter Internal Error.The Adapter Has Become Unstable. (Doc ID 2586968.1)

Symptoms

We read the files from bank FTP server using SOA FTP adapter. THey have reduced the list of ciphers and MAC algorithms. The only accept following ciphers - aes-256-ctr, aes-192-ctr and aes-128-ctr. The accepted value for MAC algorithms is hmac-sha256, hmac-sha2-256 and hmac-sha2-512. We made the changes in FTP connection factory as required and changed the following parameter values -

PreferredCipherSuite - aes-256-ctr
PreferredDataIntegrityAlgorithm - hmac-sha256

After making the changes we are unable to read the files from SFTP server. We could see the following message in the logs -

[composite_name: <COMPOSITE_NAME>] [composite_version: 1.0] [service_name: <SERVICE_NAME>] Exception while setting up session

Adapter internal error.
Adapter internal error.
The adapter has become unstable. This could be because of incorrect parameters supplied to the adapter. The parameter: {0} had value: {1}
Please make sure that SFTP has been setup correctly.
