Symptoms
Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) Replication Gateway has a different generation ID versus OUD Directory Server (DS) instances.
Four (4) backend DB/suffixes. Having issues with one out of a few backend DB/suffixes where the generation ID of the OUD DS instances (e.g., ID1) does not match the Replication Gateway (ReplGW) (e.g., ID2):
[10/Sep/2019:21:16:58 -0400] category=SYNC severity=NOTICE msgID=<msgID> msg=Replication is connected to replication server, but has a different generation id for domain <DN> than replication server <HOSTNAME>/<IP>:<PORT> - local data generation is <ID2> - replication server data generation is <ID1> - This may be only temporary or requires a full resynchronization
Re-initializing the DS instances from LDIF does not resolve the problem.
