Symptoms

When attempting to test an Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) data server connection with an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c J2EE Agent, the following error occurs:

ODI-26039: Connection Failed
oracle.odi.runtime.agent.invocation.InvocationException: oracle.odi.core.exception.OdiRuntimeException: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Could not load JDBC driver class [oracle.bi.jdbc.AnaJdbcDriver]

Changes

The required library file 'bijdbc.jar' was copied from "<ORACLE_HOME>/bifoundation/jdbc" to "<ODI_DOMAIN>/lib" as per Document 1614497.1.
