Applying Custom View Templates on Search Results Cause The Idoc Script Being Displayed Instead Metadata (Doc ID 2591698.1)

Symptoms

On 12.2.1.3.0 version of WebCenter Content (WCC), create a custom classic view search results template.  On the Search results, apply this custom template.  The search results page show the Idoc script instead metadata values.

This may also occur when using a custom Headline View.
