Purpose

Initial Data Extract, Conversion and Load
Data can be extracted directly from the Oracle tables, converted, and then loaded into Oracle tables. Initial load from Oracle to Oracle involves the following tasks.

» Extract is configured as a batch task to retrieve data directly from the source tables
» Send the data directly to a remote trail file.
» Replicat is configured to process the rmttrail and to populate target tables.
