OUD - Replication Not Working After Changing Replication Purge Delay

Symptoms
OUD is 11.1.2.3.170117
Three datacenters with each DC has three replication servers and few directory servers.
Issue:

1. Purge change log age was changed from 6 months to 3 months, after which on few OUD replication nodes changelogdb size was reduced and change was effective, and in two of the nodes Node-B and Node-C, below error was seen due to which replication server was not starting up and thus replication not working on these two nodes.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. In this case replication purge delay was updated from 6 months to 3 months. After which on a few replication nodes it worked fine and was effective, and two of the replication OUD nodes corrupted the changelogDb with the above error.
