Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.3.0 to 12.2.1.4.211011 [Release 12c]

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) currently offers the option to purge Scenario Reports at the same time the Session for that Scenario is being deleted.

However, if the Session was previously deleted without using the "Purge scenario reports" option, those Reports become un-linked to a Session execution and cannot be deleted through the "Purge Log" option.

For example, after executing a Scenario, select the "Purge Log" option in the Operator menu drop-down. Use filters to delete the Session for that execution without selecting the "Purge scenario reports" option. The Session log is deleted. Select the "Purge Log" option again and use the same search criteria. The Scenario Report is not deleted.

Similar behavior is seen using the OdiPurgeLog tool.

Note: Scenario Reports can still be manually deleted one at a time through the Load Plans and Scenarios section of the Operator tab by right-clicking and selecting Delete.
