OdiSftpGet Error 'ODI-30089: Source file "sftp://<PATH>" does not exist' Displays Directory Instead of Expected Missing File (Doc ID 2599894.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 18, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.3.190415 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After applying Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) <Patch 29205229>, the error message returned by OdiSftpGet when a source file does not exist has changed.

Previously, it listed the source file or source file pattern in the error:

ODI-30089: Source file "*<PATTERN>*.txt|*<PATTERN_TWO>*.xml|*<PATTERN_THREE>*" does not exist

After applying <Patch 29205229>, the error changed to the SFTP command and directory path instead:

org.apache.commons.vfs2.FileSystemException: Unknown message with code "ODI-30089: Source file "sftp://<HOSTNAME>/<PATH>" does not exist".
