Error In Integration Between Oracle Sales And Custom ADF Application (Doc ID 2604497.1)

Symptoms

ADF application consuming SSL-secured Web Service returns the following error in log:

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: [Security:<NUMBER>]PROTOCOL_VERSION alert received from <DOMAIN> - <IP>. Check that the peer supports the same level of the SSL/TLS protocol being used (SSL V3.0 and TLS V1.0)
