Symptoms


ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

WebCenter Portal page is not scrolling smoothly on the latest versions of iPhone such as iPhone6, iPhone7, iPhone8 and iPhoneX.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect the scroll to be smooth.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a Page Template optimized for mobile devices.

  2. Set the default page template for "iOS Phones" device group.

  3. Create a Portal.

  4. Create a Page.

  5. Add content to the page so it shows a scroll bar.

  6. Test the Portal on an iPhone with iOS 11 such as iPhone6, iPhone7, iPhone8 or iPhoneX.
    Note there are no scroll bars.
      
    Using your fingers scroll down the page.
    You will see scroll is not smooth and you can't go to the bottom of the page as the cursor keeps jumping back to the middle of the page.
