Importing User Entries with Encrypted Userpassword (Doc ID 261780.1)

Symptoms

Export of user information from LDAP v.3 compliant directory server, such as OpenLDAP.
Import into OID completes successfully.
Passwords do not appear to work.
Passwords are stored in plain text using the hash value from OpenLDAP, e.g.
userPassword: <HASHED_PASSWORD>
If the user tries to use the hashed password value, e.g. <HASHED_PASSWORD> then they are authenticated.
