One Server In Prod After A Publish Gives "content Server Error" And No Site Tree (Doc ID 2617845.1)

Last updated on JULY 07, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 12.2.1.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Accessing Clustered Publish Destination's UI Occasionally Returns "ContentServer error" and "com.fatwire.cs.ui.framework.UIException" After Publish

Many times after a publish, when accessing the publish destination's UI, a "ContentServer error" is displayed and the sites.log contains an "ORA-00936: missing expression" error.

This is a cluster, and when accessing each node directly via managed server port, only one of the nodes will have this behavior.
- Restarting this node will resolve the issue.
- Sometimes, it will resolve itself after some time.
