ORA-24328 Error When DESC Of Package After 19c Database Upgrade (Doc ID 2621670.1)

Symptoms

Post upgrade to Database 19c, describing a package having sub-program that defines index-by table as parameter raises the following error :

ORA-24328: illegal attribute value

You encounter problem if a parameter is a 'type' definition for a function or procedure.

The problem occurs only with SQL*Plus 12.2 against 19c Database.

For Example:

12cR2 Client with 19c Database returns:
ORA-24328: illegal attribute value

19c Client with 19c Database successfully displays the name of the 'type' definition.

Changes

 Upgrade to Database 19c.
