OAM Users get Re-Directed to System Error Page Instead of the Defined Failure URL After Installing OAM BP 12.2.1.3.191201 or Later (Doc ID 2622132.1)

Symptoms

When using a failure_url in one of the following scenarios it causes an OAM system error instead of being redirected to the expected/defined failure URL:

  1. Using the OAM impersonation feature and calling the following URL which includes a failure_url parameter:
    http://<OAMHOST>:<OAMPORT>/oam/server/impersonate/start?userid=<USERNAME>&success_url=<SUCCESS_URL>&failure_url=<FAILURE_URL>

  2. Using a federation flow for CUSTOM nameid format which includes any failure URL.

Changes

Installation of OAM bundle patch 12.2.1.3.191201 or later.
