Unmapped Attributes in ODI 12c Mapping Fail to be Sorted (Doc ID 2625618.1)

Symptoms

After applying a a fix for <Bug 29845187> which allows sorting of Attributes in an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c Mapping, there are still circumstances under which sorting is not available or does not work.

1. Unmapped Attributes cannot be sorted...
2. The sort option is greyed out for File Technology...
3. Components, such as Aggregate, Distinct etc, cannot be sorted...
4. Sort option is not available for Reusable Mappings...

To reproduce:

1. Create a Mapping
   1. Add a Datastore -- the Attributes are not yet mapped.
   2. Right-click and attempt to sort, notice that the "sort" option exists, but it is not doing anything.
   3. Add another Datastore and map some Attributes.
   4. Notice that the sort option only works for the mapped Attributes.
     
2. Add another Datastore using File technology
   1. Notice that the sort option exists, but all options are "greyed" out.
       
3. Add a Component, such as "Aggregrate"
   1. Notice that the sort option exists, but all options are "greyed" out.
       
4. Create a Reusable Mapping
   1. Notice that there is no option to sort any of Components.
