Error Accessing Application at Credentials, "500 Internal Server Error" (Doc ID 2627320.1)

Symptoms

Topology: Browser -> OHS -> ADF Application -> WLS
OHS is ssl configured with redirection to application.
Admin server is running ssl only (no http).
Accessing ADF application gives login screen.
On entering credentials gives error "Internal 500"
