Purpose

This note serves to clarify the Oracle Directory Integration Platform (DIP) server, odisrv, usage with regards to configsets and instances.

Scope

When running DIP in the "provisioning" mode as well as one or more "synchronization" agents, care must be taken when starting odiserv process. This note is intended for Oracle DBAs that may be setting up OID syncronization.
