Symptoms

When editing or adding a new LDAP Server for an Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 11g Active Directory (AD) Adapter in Oracle Directory Services Manager (ODSM) application, the verification process is passing successfully for the host values with leading or trailing spaces, and the Status is OK.
When you apply the changes, the file adapters.os_xml is written with a configuration that will not work.
