Goal

After setting up publish source and target server, while looking at the publish destination configuration on the source instance, the following messages can be seen generated on the destination's cas.log every 20 seconds:

[jasig] [NOTIFICATION] [] [org.jasig.cas.authentication.PolicyBasedAuthenticationManager] [tid: 100] CSAuthenticationHandler successfully authenticated fwadmin+password
[jasig] [NOTIFICATION] [] [org.jasig.cas.authentication.PolicyBasedAuthenticationManager] [tid: 100] Authenticated fwadmin with credentials [fwadmin+password].
[jasig] [NOTIFICATION] [] [org.jasig.cas.CentralAuthenticationServiceImpl] [tid: 97] Granted service ticket [<ticket>] for service [http://xxxx/sites/CatalogManager] for user [fwadmin]

What is the reason these CAS calls are being made?
